Fatima became the first Pakistani female athlete to register 10 world records after delivering an extraordinary performance in the punch-speed category.She held eggs in both hands while throwing 340 punches in one minute, surpassing Indian athlete Divya Jyoti Sarkar’s previous record of 331 punches.The latest achievement adds to a growing list of international records held by the Pakistani martial arts star, who has repeatedly made her mark against established record holders from India.
This is not Fatima’s first brush with greatness. She set her first world record at the age of just seven and has since gone on to beat Indian record holders on multiple occasions.Fatima Naseem also secured recognition from Guinness World Records in a stretching category, setting a record for the longest duration of stretching between two chairs.She maintained her balance for one minute and 45 seconds, surpassing the minimum benchmark of one minute and 30 seconds required for the record.
The achievement further underlines Fatima’s versatility, with her record-breaking feats extending beyond traditional martial arts disciplines.Her latest achievements have now seen her become the first Pakistani woman to reach the landmark of 10 world records, further cementing her reputation as one of the country’s most accomplished young martial artists.
