Lahore (NNI) The Lahore High Court has issued a written order of the previous hearing of the case related to smog prevention. Justice Shahid Karim issued a two-page written order of the previous hearing. The written decision has said that indiscriminate action should be continued against smog-emitting vehicles, action should also be taken against government buses, including police and educational institutions, which are causing pollution. The written order has said that the implementation of SOPs should be ensured in the ongoing construction in housing societies, and reports on the restoration of PHA parks and trees should be presented at the next hearing.
The written order further said that the LDA submitted a report regarding Nasir Bagh, the LDA gave a report on the establishment of a three-member committee regarding the Nasir Bagh project, according to the report, the committee will communicate with the members in the Nasir Bagh project and give its opinion on the Nasir Bagh project, the committee should present a report on the steps taken to protect Nasir Bagh at the next hearing.
