Karachi (NNI) Senior Pakistani actress and TV host Nadia Khan found it difficult to dance to an Indian song with her son. Nadia Khan recently attended a mehndi ceremony with her family. The actress wore a beautiful blue mehndi outfit while her son chose a black dress. Nadia Khan shared a video on her social account Instagram in which she is dancing with her son to the Indian song “Senorita”. As soon as the video went viral on social media, questions started being raised about Nadia Khan’s patriotism by users.
Users accused her of double standards. Many users criticized and said that Nadia Khan, who is often seen taking a nationalist and tough stance on TV programs, is herself dancing to an Indian song. One user commented, “This is an Indian song, where has your patriotism gone?” While another wrote, “The one who used to lecture others is now dancing to Indian songs herself.” Some users also raised questions, citing recent regional events.
